OVHcloud Founder Octave Klaba Returns as CEO Amid €1 Billion Revenue Milestone
OVHcloud, Europe’s largest cloud provider, has announced that founder Octave Klaba is returning as CEO. This decision follows the company’s achievement of surpassing €1 billion in annual revenue for the first time. The board has merged the chairman and CEO roles, entrusting Klaba with leadership once again.
Klaba, who led the company from its inception in 1999 until 2018, will now oversee operations as OVHcloud addresses the increasing demand for artificial intelligence services and the growing emphasis on cloud independence amid geopolitical shifts. He replaces Benjamin Revcolevschi, who had been CEO since 2024.
In the fiscal year 2025, OVHcloud reported a 9.3% increase in revenue, reaching €1.08 billion, with an adjusted EBITDA margin of 40.4%. The company’s net debt rose to €1.1 billion as of August 2025, primarily due to a share buyback plan. Private Cloud remains the top revenue contributor at 62%, followed by Public Cloud at 20%, and Webcloud at 18%.
Looking ahead, OVHcloud aims for organic revenue growth of 5–7% in 2026, focusing on expanding its Webcloud segment and maintaining a strong EBITDA margin. The company also plans to continue its global expansion, particularly in markets such as Canada, Singapore, and India.
