Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang to Attend APEC CEO Summit in South Korea

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang will travel to South Korea at the end of October to attend the APEC CEO Summit — a major global business forum held alongside the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation meeting.

He will meet political leaders, investors, and top executives from Asia’s largest chipmakers and tech companies. The visit highlights Nvidia’s push to strengthen partnerships in artificial intelligence, data centers, and advanced computing across Asia.

South Korea is an important market for Nvidia. Companies like Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix supply key components such as high-bandwidth memory chips used in Nvidia’s AI servers. Strengthening those ties is seen as critical for Nvidia’s growth at a time when demand for AI infrastructure is exploding worldwide.

The summit is also expected to draw world leaders, including U.S. President Donald Trump and China’s President Xi Jinping. Their possible meeting could signal renewed negotiations amid ongoing trade and technology tensions between the two countries — tensions that have already pressured U.S. chipmakers like Nvidia.

Huang’s attendance also comes as Nvidia works around export controls to China and increased regulatory scrutiny. Despite these challenges, Nvidia continues to expand globally by working with partners in Korea, Japan, and Southeast Asia to secure supply chains and open new markets.

The APEC CEO Summit runs from October 28 to 31 in South Korea.
