NVIDIA CEO’s Seoul Visit Blends K-Food, AI Deals Ahead of APEC Summit
Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA, kicked off his visit to South Korea at an informal fried-chicken dinner with industry heavyweights Samsung Electronics and Hyundai Motor.
The dinner, held at a chicken restaurant in Gangnam, drew a crowd of fans and media alike. Huang used the occasion to hint at major AI partnerships in Korea, ahead of the APEC CEO Summit in Gyeongju.
Sources say NVIDIA is poised to sign multibillion-won deals to supply AI chips to Samsung, Hyundai and the Korean conglomerate SK Group.
Huang’s Korean itinerary closely follows rising geopolitical and trade tensions between the US and China.
His presence at APEC signals NVIDIA’s push to deepen ties in a key memory-chip and AI supply hub.
