YouTube TV Strikes Deal with NBCUniversal, Relaunching NBCSN & Bringing Peacock Integration
YouTube TV and NBCUniversal have reached a multi-year carriage agreement that restores NBC’s full slate of channels on the streaming service, relaunches NBC Sports Network (NBCSN), and introduces Peacock through YouTube Primetime Channels.
Under the deal, YouTube TV will carry networks like NBC, CNBC, Bravo, Syfy, Universal and more. The partnership also allows full episodes, highlights, and clips of NBCUniversal content to appear on YouTube.
The relaunch of NBCSN will expand sports programming access for streaming audiences, and the integration of Peacock aims to strengthen NBCUniversal’s subscription-based streaming presence.
