Honeywell Predicts Record $283B in Business Jet Deliveries Over Next Decade

Honeywell business jet forecast

Honeywell expects unprecedented demand in private aviation. Over the next ten years, it forecasts 8,500 new business jets valued at $283 billion will be delivered globally — a 34-year high.

This outlook defies early skepticism that pandemic-driven interest in private travel would fade. Instead, usage and orders continue to climb.

The jet-maker notes that 91% of operators anticipate flying more or maintaining current levels.

The surge is already lifting peer companies. Bombardier’s upcoming Global 8000 is poised for rich demand, while Gulfstream plans upgrades for its G280 model.

Honeywell’s forecast comes despite headwinds like trade tensions and supply chain uncertainty. Still, business aviation appears to be outperforming pre-COVID levels.

Demand for fractional ownership models — where users buy shares in jets — is also fueling growth.

The company expects deliveries to grow about 5% in 2026, with a long-term annual growth rate of around 3%

Strong enthusiasm among operators suggests this trend may reshape how the wealthy travel in years to come.
