Google Offers Pakistani Students Free One-Year AI Pro Plan with Gemini 2.5

Google has announced that Pakistani students aged 18 and over can now access its AI Pro plan (Gemini 2.5 Pro) for free for one year.  The offer includes advanced AI features aimed at boosting learning, research, and creativity. 

Under the plan, students will get tools such as Deep Research, NotebookLM, video-generation features (Veo 3, Flow), and 2 TB of cloud storage across Google Drive, Gmail, and Photos.  Google also integrates Gemini into apps like Docs, Sheets, Meet, and Slides, enabling tasks like summarizing emails and preparing projects more efficiently. 

According to a Google press release, the move is part of the company’s broader mission to empower students with AI tools for academic growth and creative expression.  The program is already available in multiple Asia-Pacific countries, and Pakistani students are now invited to sign up. 

This initiative could significantly impact how Pakistani students study — giving access to premium AI features that were previously cost-prohibitive. Watch for uptake rates, educational outcomes, and potential expansion into other countries.
